This place seem very legit, nothing fancy but good solid food, it would had been a 5 stars if it was better value. In the good old days this is good, fast and cheap eats. It’s everything but cheap.

Been coming here for 50 years. Same family owned same iconic Hot Dog stand! Italian beef combo as good as it gets.

My dad has been going to Herm’s Palace for many years, so he was excited to take me there. Parking was easy to find with many spaces available. We were greeted as we entered and taken care of immediately. We both ordered the polish sausages with everything. Before I ate, I went downstairs to the restroom. The space was cramped and smelled strange. That is why I gave the atmosphere a 4/5. Back to the food, amazing! the fries were not soggy and lightly salted which I love. Great service and food. Thanks! :)

Food is good on the whole, service is great. Chicago dogs, fries and onion rings are our usual. They serve lots of items so will try some others at some point.

The food was great, prices were great. But the thing that made this truly stellar was the unreasonable hospitality. Everyone seemed to be a regular, all orders remembered. Smiles everywhere! The menu seemed a bit overwhelming, but everything I ordered was perfect! Portion, temp and flavor were all on point. I will be back soon and more frequent for sure. If you want to excel in industry, just hang out and listen and learn. Thanks again!

Wanted to find a place close to all of my friends and I, and it was skokie. I've passed by this place a few times but have never gotten the chance to explore until today. I had the chopped chicken sandwich, and it was delicious, especially with the fries. I know I had to order some food to go. I ordered another chopped chicken sandwich and the Chicago style hot dog (I hadn't had one in a long time). The hot dog was delicious-all the condiments worked together so well. The staff were so friendly and I'm amazed how the owner remembered our order and calculated all the math. I'll definitely come here again and definitely want to try other items on the menu. This place is a golden gem for sure!

We were in Chicago for the day and this place sounded great based on the reviews. People are not kidding....Herm's Palace is amazing! We were sad to head home because we can't get food this good near our place. We'll definitely make the trip again very soon! I don't know which was better: the friendly service or the food. Love it!!
